While reading the article “How to record a phone call” I was extremely surprised by a lot of the things discussed in this article. I was very surprised to read that in some states you may need to check the laws regarding recording phone calls because sometimes two-way consent is required, but in some states only one-way consent is required.
Products such as FaceTime, or on Androids, the screen capturing are all features that allow you to record a phone call or even a face to face video chat. Although I have never used skype myself, this article states that skype might be the most efficient and easiest way of recording a phone call.
Social media is growing daily, and the technology used to record these voice calls is becoming extremely complex. I don’t think I would like my phone calls recorded because it seems as if it’s an invasion of privacy. I also think that recording calls can come in handy from more of a business perspective.
I listened to Rich Rolls podcast about Lindsey Vonn which I found very inspiring. Lindsey Vonn is an Olympic skier, and as an athlete, I find what she talks about in this podcast very cool. Like her training schedule and some of the other things she talks about.
In the podcast while talking about her future plans, Vonn talks about how weird it is going to be without competitive skiing in her future. Vonn spends her days training every day year round. Vonn does a lot of running as she is restricted due to multiple injuries.
I enjoyed listening to this podcast because as a college athlete, I can relate to all of what she is talking about.
